It’s always fun to take a trip to Victoria, but it seems that when Spring arrives there’s an extra spring (hey) in the city’s step, and that means it’s a particularly good time to visit. If you’re taking a trip during the first days of spring and beyond, you’ll find a host of fun, varied events waiting to be enjoyed. If you’re a fan of all things pop culture, then make sure you’re getting down to Capital City Comic Con, which will be taking place at the Victoria Conference Centre and Crystal Garden from March 22 - 24. There’ll be signings, vendors, cosplay, and a whole bunch more to get involved in.
Now in its 10th year, the Spark Festival continues to entertain and delight. Running from March 8 through to March 24 at the Belfry Theatre, the festival will feature some of the country’s best theatre, as well as workshops and other free events. Anyone with even a mild interest in the stage will want to check it out.
It’s always fun to catch a Victoria Royals game! Alas, the season is nearly over. If you’re visiting on March 15, get down there and show your support for the local team. A great atmosphere is guaranteed!
