From an unforgettable concert overlooking the water to a family-friendly LEGO exhibition at the Sidney Museum, check out what to do in Victoria this January.
Music By the Sea at the Victoria International Marina is back for 2022. This year, event organizers have assembled a company of Canada’s finest and most unique artists for a series of six concerts in January. Concerts are scheduled to take place each night from January 11th until the 16th, with tickets starting at $108. We can’t think of any better cure for the winter blues than listening to some live classical music on the water.
The LEGO Brick Exhibition has officially taken up residence at the Sidney Museum. On now until March 31, 2022, this always-popular exhibition is back and suitable for all ages. This year’s showcase features everything from fairytale castles to 1960s pop culture icons. The exhibition is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00 pm and admission is by donation.
Wellness Weekend at The Oak Bay Beach Resort is back for three whole days this January. Kicking off January 28th and lasting until the 30th, this annual event is the perfect way to start the year. The event is being hosted by Catherine Roscoe Barr, a wellness coach and the founder of The Life Delicious. Over the course of the weekend, this one-of-a-kind retreat will lead participants through five in-depth modules on Mindset, Movement, Nutrition, Sleep, and Connection. The Wellness Weekend also includes nutritious, locally-inspired meals, guided group exercise sessions, and access to the on-site fitness room and sauna.
