Ever dream of enjoying a warm relaxing hot tub experience on the Gorge Waterway in Victoria?
Now you can, thanks to Victoria’s own Hot Tub Boats. Hot Tub Boats are floating hot tubs that have been set up in the Gorge Waterway and Upper Harbour.
They are the first of their kind in Canada and offer a whole new way of exploring the city’s scenic waterways. Relax in a floating hot tub with your friends and family while floating by some of the best attractions in Victoria.
Hot Tubs Boats are completely private, with rentals starting at $65 per adult and $45 per child. Each boat has the capacity to fit 6 people and no boating license is required. Even better, guests can bring whatever they like aboard (snacks, music, etc…). The only exception is alcohol, which is prohibited for everyone’s safety. Each rental also comes with two bottles of water per person, a Bluetooth speaker, and dry bags to keep your belongings safe.
Rest assured, Hot Tub Boats is taking everyone’s health and safety seriously. All boats are fully cleaned, disinfected, and emptied between rentals.
According to the website, Hot Tub Boats are suitable for children ages 12 and up. They can be reserved in two-hour increments, with bookings currently available all summer and fall (though they fill up fast!).
Bookings can be made online or over the phone and require 3 hours’ notice. Your adventure will begin at Hot Tub Boat Canada’s floating dock and shack, which is located at the bottom of Swift Street near the base of Chinatown.
Finally, good news if you live in Vancouver or Kelowna as Hot Tub Boats has plans to expand to those Canadian cities next.
