Summer is the time when everything comes to life, and we don’t just mean in terms of the planet, which is looking lush and at its best. We also mean in terms of activities; there’s just so much more available to do in the summer. This is the season of festivals, of all kinds, and that’s especially the case in Victoria. During July, for instance, there’ll be a whole host of fun, organised events to keep you entertained and having fun during your trip. Coming up we have music shows, a vegan festival, and one that’s all about the beach.
Veganism has grown exponentially in recent years, and now its never been easier to transition to an animal-free lifestyle. On July 20, Vegtoria will be taking place at Centennial Square from 11 am through to 6 pm, and will feature music, food, talks, vendors, and much more.
A great crowd, music, and beer, what more could you want on a summer’s day? From July 26 - 28, The Phillips Backyard Weekender will be taking place at Phillips Brewery. It’s an open air event that’ll be sure to have a terrific, easy-going summer vibe.
Finally, make sure to check out Parksville Beach Festival, which will run from July 12 to August 18. It’s a day at a beach with a twist -- you’ll be able to see entrants into the World Championship of Sand Sculpting,
