Spring is a lovely time to visit Victoria, so you’ll have a great time visiting the city no matter what you do. However, if you are looking for something to do then you won’t be disappointed on that front, either. In the coming weeks we have a photo exhibition on, a special art show, and tales of everyone’s most favourite day of mischief, April Fool’s Day.

Through the Looking Glass

This photography exhibition will be taking place from March 28 - March 31 at the Pacific Design Academy. It will showcase the works of three young photographers, who as new artists might just have a take on the world that no one has quite seen before. The event is free, so head on down and see the works of photographers who might just be the next big thing.

Awakening Memory

On Friday March 24, a special new art exhibition will open at Open Space, featuring the works of artists Sonny Assu, lessLIE, and Marianne Nicolson, as curated by France Trépanier. Awakening Memory will focus on the relationship between art and indigenous peoples through storytelling.

April Fools!

We all know that April 1 is the most devilish day of the year. If you need some inspiration, then make sure you head on down to the Visitor Information Centre, where a tour specifically to do with April Fools will be departing at 2pm. Every story you’ll hear will be bizarre, but which are real and which are fake?!

Book your stay at the Best Western Plus Carlton Plaza Hotel and you’ll be right in the heart of the Victoria’s action. We offer two types of accommodation at our hotel: traditional rooms and suites. Whichever you choose, you’ll have the same great experience, with cozy, comfortable rooms the standard across the hotel.
