Cherry and plum blossoms abound on Blanshard Street come spring. Take a stroll along this street, where you’ll find long stretches of the beautiful trees, spanning Fort Street all the way to St. Ann’s Academy National Historic Site.
If you plan on visiting Chinatown this month, then be sure to take a walk down Fisgard Street. This Victoria street comes alive in spring, with pink cherry blossom trees blooming along the sidewalk. Grab a coffee, do some shopping, and enjoy the fresh blooms all in one go.
View Street is one of the most iconic spots to see cherry blossom trees in Victoria. This downtown locale is a must on your cherry blossom tour of the city. In addition, the View Street cherry blossoms are usually some of the earliest to bloom in the city, signifying that winter is truly over and spring has sprung.
Hatley Castle & Gardens are home to several mesmerizing cherry blossom trees come April. As if the castle itself isn't beautiful enough, cherry blossom trees can be found in the estate’s very own Japanese Garden. We also recommend booking a tour through the castle, as this National Historic Site deserves to be explored in its entirety.
