Do you want to be one of the first people in North America to take a peek at priceless ancient Egyptian artifacts like the coffin of Nakht, a statue of Hatshepsut or an ornate gold and garnet necklace that dates back to the Ptolemaic period?
Yes? Then it’s time to book yourself a Victoria getaway, because the Egypt: The Time of the Pharaohs exhibition at the Royal BC Museum is sure to blow your mind.
With more than 300 original artifacts - some up to an incredible 4,500 years old - this exhibition will transport you back to a time when civilization first sprang up along the River Nile, pyramids dotted the skyline and people believed that gods walked among them.
This comprehensive exhibition covers all aspects of ancient Egyptian life, from the emergence of ancient Egyptian civilization along the Nile to the Ptolemaic and Roman eras.
